Transport wheelchairs do not have big wheels for self-propelling. When you are in transport chairs someone needs to push you along. They come in various models and sizes but are near the same as other manual wheelchairs without the big wheels. The small wheels allow for better turning radiuses in small areas.

Harmony Home Medical offers specialized measuring to ensure even the most challenging customers are fitted properly for their new wheelchair. Whether someone has simple needs, such as a more comfortable seat, or challenging needs, like they need postural support and re-positioning because they have no trunk control, we can help.

On Duty ATP (Assistive Technology Professional)

Our ATP can do a mobility assessment to ensure that the right wheelchair seating for that patient’s needs is selected. Correct seating can affect a person’s comfort, health, level of fatigue or energy, and ability to breathe. So it is really important that consideration is given to their individual size, requirements, and intended use.

After Purchase Care

Once you purchase a wheelchair from Harmony Home Medical the experience does not stop there.

We provide one year FREE in-home service on all new wheelchairs. We offer free light maintenance and adjustments in-store for life.

We can also adjust a lot of the chairs to accommodate needs of patients over time. Our bodies change and our needs change with time, so new cushion or back selections can be made if needed.
