Our History
We have been serving quality medical supplies to the San Diego community since 2008. We have dedicated our lives to providing solutions for our clients to maximize their quality of life and independence. You deserve to live a comfortable lifestyle, free from unnecessary challenges that proper medical equipment can resolve. Harmony Home Medical can help you or your loved one do that. Our founder, Erica Sell, saw the need to put the decisions and the choice in the end-users hands, not the insurance company's.
When she founded Harmony Home there were very few places to go see medical equipment and home access solutions in San Diego, or anywhere in the US. Most Durable Medical Equipment (DME) dealers operated out of a warehouse with little to no showroom. Erica wanted to change that. She wanted to treat shopping for DME like shopping for any other item and bring selection, trying on, and all the pleasures of shopping in-person to medical equipment and home access. That was when the beautiful showrooms of Harmony Home Medical were born and they began delivering the Next-Level of service and education in the medical equipment space. Now three expansions and a second location later, Harmony Home Medical is San Diego's most diverse and complete medical equipment showroom.

We have a showroom featuring everything from power mobility devices to disposable goods so you can shop and leave with what you need. If it happens we don’t have an item in stock, we’ll order it for you. There is little we can’t get for you at prices you can afford. We make every effort to exceed your expectations and promise to always send you home with the right equipment. We also offer accessible living services and can help you or a loved one modify challenging areas of their home so that they can remain safe and comfortable for years to come.

Erica Sell grew up in Northern California. After attending Pepperdine University and graduating from UCSD, she decided to extend her passion for helping people in need into a successful business. She created Harmony Home Medical in 2008. Erica is a Certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and Certified Aging in Place Specialist.
