Easy Joystick Controls
The controls on most models are similar. It is an easy joystick control of going up and down.
The stair lift moves at a safe pace but also gets you to the top in a timely manner.
Once you get used to using the chair it becomes a very easy, smooth process, allowing you to remain living in your own home despite having stairs.
Low Profile Designs
The chair seat folds up and out of the way. The rail the chair rides up on does not stick out more than 9″ from the wall (and less on certain models) leaving plenty of space for people to walk up the stairs.
