Types of Hospital Beds

Manual

This type of bed is totally manually operated so if you want to change the position a caregiver will need to adjust it, but if you do not need to change your position frequently and you want to save some money, these are the most economical version of the hospital beds. However they also usually do not have as many possible positions as the electric versions as well.

Semi Electric

A semi-electric hospital bed has a motor that controls the head and foot positions with a simple controller, but you will still have to adjust the height of the bed manually. So if you are mobile enough not to need the continuous height adjustment well, this midrange hospital bed maybe be the right choice for you.

Fully Electric

The fully electrically hospital bed has a motor to control your head and foot positions as well as your height positions. These are definitely the most convenient if the person in the bed will control there position, all positions are controlled by a simple controller.

Comfort for the Hardest Times

Hospital beds can provide great comfort for you in a hard time. Being able to control your head and foot position at the touch of a button is very nice no matter who you are. Harmony Home Medical has different types of mattress toppers that will fit your needs perfectly. Hospital beds for some are a necessity and some may just want some more support and ease of movement getting in and out of bed.

Delivery and Install

We can install hospital beds in most all bedrooms, the bed is broken down into parts and can be transported through any doorway. We will need to measure prior to bringing in the bed to see if we need to move and furniture or belonging to a different room, but as you can see from the pictures they are quite compact.

Side rails for safety

These beds come with rails on the side if you are prone to rolling off the bed. They will keep you safe as you sleep as well when you sleep you can take it down to the lowest height.
